This piece is one of the most meaningful designs I’ve ever created.

Our journey to motherhood was anything but simple. After three long years of infertility, endless appointments, lab work, testing, medications, heartbreak, and unanswered questions, we finally took the leap into IVF.

Just as I began the retrieval process, my husband’s NFL career moved him states away. I found myself doing IVF shots, appointments, and procedures largely on my own while simultaneously packing up our entire household (which at the time included our two silver Lab babies 🐾). It was exhausting in every sense of the word but when you want a family badly enough, you keep going!

We became pregnant with our sweet Luca, and for a moment, it felt like every hard thing had finally been worth it. Then, at 16 weeks, we unexpectedly lost him.

There truly are no words for that kind of heartbreak. It was brutal. Gut-wrenching. It left us in one of the darkest places we’ve ever known.

But even through the grief, we knew deep down that our dream of becoming parents was still worth fighting for.

So we kept going.

And because of that, we were blessed with our Hudson. He's our wild, thriving, joy-filled 3-year-old who keeps us on our toes every single day! IVF blessed us with our third boy in 2025 who is the most chill, sweet and happy baby I have ever met!

We owe our growing family to the incredible advances of IVF, and we carry endless gratitude for the science, the doctors, and the strength it took to keep moving forward!

But just as importantly, we owe so much to the IVF community.

The women who went first.

The ones who shared their stories openly.

The ones who educated, encouraged, and held space for complete strangers walking the same path.

During my own journey, I found so many resources, stories, and women who helped me feel less alone. Women who reminded me to keep going when the process felt impossibly long and emotionally exhausting.

That’s what makes this community so incredibly special!

IVF mamas truly rally around one another in the most beautiful way. We become each other’s biggest cheerleaders, lifting one another through heartbreak, hope, waiting, and ultimately, motherhood.

This zippy was created for the fighters.

For the hopeful hearts.

For the miracle babies.

For the mothers still waiting.

And for the little ones who made every injection, every tear, every setback, and every prayer worth it 🤍
